Thomas has been in the industry for more than 20 years, having worked in all aspects of the business from data to delivery and everywhere in-between.
He loves the industry and has a voracious appetite for discovering the latest trends in DM which helps give Orangebox (and our clients) an edge.
Leading the Auckland team, he can be often heard on the phone to the Wellington office, skiting about the weather up north. Even though we all know that it rains most of the time...
GM Sales & Marketing
Tricia has held senior roles in sales and marketing for over 20 years. Her great skill is in fostering fantastic client relationships and she has contributed to the significant growth Orangebox has enjoyed in Auckland.
Tricia's passion for the industry is contagious - she can often be heard squealing with delight over a beautifully crafted DM piece. And you thought we just used ear plugs in the production area.
Selena manages the Auckland Client Services team. She has a passion for DM and thrives on a challenge, so it's no surprise that for any creative concept that may seem impossible,
she'll find a way to make it happen and bring it to life. With over 15 years of mailhouse, print and distribution experience, Selena is adept at building close and effective client relationships.
She loves sport of all kinds - in particular netball and as an accredited umpire, can be seen on the netball courts blowing her whistle at weekends. She's loud by nature but even more so on the side-line of any game!
Nicole's expertise encompasses the offset, label and digital print arenas, and she has an excellent understanding of quality and critical path planning.
As an experienced Account Manager, Nicole's bubbly personality means she builds great relationships and is very passionate about meeting all customer expectations.
Nicole is an avid music fan and when not at work can generally be spotted dancing away at a concert.
Client Services Coordinator
Jessica is new to the industry having started in January 2019. She is a hardworking individual who is eager to increase her knowledge and grow her skill set in a dynamic environment.
Having spent 2 years as a live-in Au Pair in the United States of America, as well as commencing studies towards a BA degree (whilst working as a full-time Teacher Assistant), Jessica has learnt the art of prioritising and managing her time effectively.
When not at work, Jessica is a long time dancer and can be found twirling her way around a dance class.
National Technical Services Manager
Richard leads our nationwide technical services team. He has extensive database communications experience both in NZ and the UK having joined the industry in 1981 (Yes they had databases back then).
Prior to moving to New Zealand in 2003 he was director of the data services division of the UK's largest Direct Mail specialist. He has a passion for building customised software solutions to meet customers business needs including data processing, on-line stock management and fulfilment systems.
He's a long term supporter of West Ham, which means he is a very patient man.
Gavin has a passion for print having trained as an Offset printer in the packaging industry. He has an eye for superb print quality, which helps us stay on top as New Zealand's most awarded mailhouse.
He has a wide breadth of industry experience in everything from sales through to operations having run his own print companies in both New Zealand and South Africa.
His experience and ability to troubleshoot problems, brings a much needed calmness to a busy production floor.
Bedsides print his other passion is fish... ...well spearing or hooking them.
Chief Financial Officer
Scott is an experienced CFO joining us from agency side having previously been with .99 and Ogilvy, and Setanta Sports in the UK.
His other passion, outside of spreadsheets and cashflow forecasts is Tottenham Hotspur Football club - needless to say he is often on an emotional rollercoaster
Steve has been working in the Direct Mail industry in New Zealand and internationally for more than 20 years.
He is passionate about the ongoing development and innovation of our data capabilities, tools and services to keep pace with our industry and of course most importantly, our client's needs.
Steve heads up the Wellington office and is a passionate supporter of all things Wellington - and yes that includes an enduring blind faith when it comes to supporting the Hurricanes.
Danielle manages the Wellington Client Services team and has been with Orangebox for well over 10 years.
She has extensive knowledge of the direct marketing industry and all things direct and has completed both the Direct and Digital Marketing Course through the Marketing Association.
She is super customer focused and consistently engages with her clients to add value, innovation and cost savings wherever possible.
Out of the office you will find her on the Netball court, at the Gym or listening to music. If you are unlucky you may even catch her singing, she's still wondering why her yodelling never got the call-back from X Factor.
Sandra has spent many years fine-tuning an array of business skills within New Zealand and more extensively in Australia (but don't hold that against her!).
Her area of specialty encompass sales and relationship management across multiple sectors within print/digital media and promotional marketing. She is passionate about achieving the best possible outcome for all her clients and is willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.
Outside of work Sandra has been known to participate in a fun-run or two and enjoys maintaining her Croatian heritage by speaking the language and perfecting her Croatian cooking skills.
Andy has an extensive Account Management background across a wide range of industries so has a good idea of what makes businesses tick.
He is a friendly guy who loves to get to know his customers and so he can help them with their business needs and build strong relationships.
Outside of work you will find him involved in everything from running to football... pretty much anything that will get him out of the house.
Client Services Coordinator
Garrick has an extensive background in print and design with more than a decade of industry experience. He has worked in all areas of Orangebox, starting off in production as a machine operator prior to utilising his talents in a client service role.
With his passion for all things creative, he brings a unique view on life which ultimately leads to an unforgettable interaction.
When he's not hard at work, you'll find him at the gym training as a power lifter, trying to find a new way to change his car tyres without a jack.
Helen has come from a varied background of print purchasing, retail management and customer services to an all-round administrator.
She is focused on building and maintaining great relationships with our suppliers and our clients. She is pro-active in communication and believes that this is fundamental in working with our clients.
Helen enjoys weekends away, visiting friends and family. She has recently purchased an old caravan which she and her partner are in the process of doing up to take away on a road trips.
When Steve and Thomas knew it was time to hire their first staff member in 2005, there was one person they had at the top of their list.
Steve has an incredible wealth of industry knowledge having got his start in the industry in the 90's as a machine operator, before working his way up to Production Manager. He also has a fine eye for detail and drives our quality processes on the production floor.
Steve loves his machinery. In fact, if he was stuck on a desert island, we're certain he would be able to convert a printer into a fully-fledged man cave.
