Thomas has been in the industry for over 18 years, having worked in all aspects of the business from data to delivery and everywhere in-between. He loves the industry and has a voracious appetite for discovering the latest trends in DM which helps give Orangebox (and our clients) an edge. Leading the Auckland team, he can be often heard on the phone to the Wellington office, skiting about the weather up north. Even though we all know that it rains most of the time...
General Manager Auckland
Tricia has held senior roles in sales and marketing for over 20 years. Her great skill is in fostering fantastic client relationships and she has been largely responsible for steering the significant growth Orangebox has enjoyed in Auckland. Tricia's passion for the industry is contagious - she can often be heard squealing with delight over a beautifully crafted DM piece. And you thought we just used ear plugs in the production area.
Selena is our highly talented Senior Account Manager. She has a passion for Direct and thrives on a challenge, so it's no surprise that for any creative concept that may seem impossible, she'll find a way to make it happen and bring it to life. With over 10 years print, distribution and mailhouse experience, Selena is adept at building close and effective client relationships. She loves sport of all kinds - in particular netball and as a recently accredited umpire, can be seen on the netball courts blowing her whistle at weekends. Her team of choice is the Mystics and she's known to scream quite loudly courtside during their games!
Lauren has been working in the mailing industry for over 8 years. She's been involved in all areas, from client services to document set-up and NZ Post lodgements, so she has an excellent understanding of all processes and associated timelines. She's an absolute dynamo in our client services team, being super-organised, energetic and great at getting all the important things done. She is the proud holder of the coveted "Orangebox tidiest desk award", and means to keep it that way.
Jess has a background in marketing and communications. She's passionate about ideas and customers needs. While Jess has a keen eye for detail she is a true multitasker – you can often find her working hard while snacking on a protein bar. Outside of work you'll find Jess at the gym or winding down from all the office excitement with a yoga class.
Naaim joined us soon after we started Orangebox Auckland in 2008 with over 14 years experience in the direct mail industry, mostly in his homeland of South Africa. His skill as a digital print specialist means that Naaim has a great understanding of how everything works, and is known to get mailings out in record time. They don't call him "Flash" for nothing. A keen weekend sportsman, if Naaim is not on the production floor he can often be found debating the weekend's sports results with Thomas.
Steve has been working in the Direct Mail industry in New Zealand and internationally for more than 20 years. He is passionate about the ongoing development and innovation of our data capabilities, tools and services to keep pace with our industry and of course most importantly, our client's needs. Steve heads up the Wellington office and is a passionate supporter of all things Wellington - and yes that includes an enduring blind faith when it comes to supporting the Hurricanes.
National Technical Services Manager
Richard leads our nationwide technical services team. He has extensive database communications experience both in NZ and the UK having joined the industry in 1981 (Yes they had databases back then). Prior to moving to New Zealand in 2003 he was director of the data services division of the UK's largest Direct Mail specialist. He has a passion for building customised software solutions to meet customers business needs including data processing, on-line stock management and fulfilment systems. He's a long term supporter of West Ham, which means he is a very patient man.

Danielle has been part of the team at Orangebox for 7 years. Coming through production means she has a wealth of knowledge of how things are actually done and is our in house expert on digital colour print. Danielle is customer focused and strives for creative problem solving when it comes to her clients. She has completed both the Direct & Digital Marketing Course through the Marketing Association. Out of the office you will find her on the Netball court, at the Gym, or listening to music. If you are unlucky you may even catch her singing, she's still wondering why her yodelling never got the call-back from X Factor.
Ann joined us to provide 12 month maternity cover as Account Director and brings with her vast experience as a senior relationship manager. Having spent recent years working for marketing technology and data supply company Acxiom, Ann is familiar with Orangebox, our clients, direct marketing, and data in general. Prior to her 16 years' experience in the world of data, both in NZ and overseas, Ann had an equally relevant career that included working in various roles with New Zealand Post for over 4 years. Ann will be based in our Petone office.
Sandra has spent many years fine-tuning an array of business skills within New Zealand, and more extensively in Australia (but donâ€™t hold that against her!). Key areas of specialty encompass sales and relationship management across several market sectors, including advertising within print/digital media, promotional marketing, as well as corporate health and wellness. She is passionate about achieving the best possible outcome for all her clients, and is willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. Outside of work Sandra has been known to participate in a fun-run or two, and enjoys maintaining her Croatian heritage by speaking the language and perfecting her Croatian cooking skills.
Nakita comes from a background in marketing and account management. Her enthusiasm and open mind allows her to approach every client's needs differently, offering the finest solutions by thinking outside the box. Her attention to detail means she is constantly triple checking, leaving no room for error. Nakita has oodles of energy and you can catch her burning it at the gym while instructing her 'Groove' classes.
Kasey has a solid background in print and promotions and started with us in early-2015 as an awesomely talented Campaign Manager where she was the critical internal link between the client services and production teams, ensuring that jobs were on track, and everyone was kept up to date on progress. She was so awesome that she was promoted to Account Manager soon after. The way she quickly moved roles is a good parallel to her love of cars.
When Steve and Thomas knew it was time to hire their first staff member in 2005, there was one person they had at the top of their list. Steve has an incredible wealth of industry knowledge having got his start in the industry 16 years ago as a machine operator, before working his way up to Production Manager 3 years later. He also has a fine eye for detail and drives our quality processes on the production floor. Steve loves his machinery. In fact, if he was stuck on a desert island, weâ€™re certain he would be able to convert a printer into a fully-fledged man cave.
