AXA New Zealand: Take 15
AXA is one of the world’s leading providers of investment, insurance, retirement and savings solutions.
Most of their products are sold by financial and insurance advisors, and when AXA wanted to increase sales through boosting the product knowledge among approximately 800 of these advisors, they called Orangebox.
THE CHALLENGE:
- Rather than overload the advisors with information, AXA designed a 15-stage jigsaw puzzle campaign to arrive by mail over successive weeks.
- Changes to creative and content needed constant updating as AXA received feedback from the advisors and passed amendments on to Orangebox.
THE SOLUTION:
- Orangebox printed the fully personalised colour jigsaw pieces (labels and letters) on in-house colour printers, ready to dispatch to AXA advisors.
- The back-to-back mailings meant quick turnarounds. Last minute changes to the creative were handled and the pieces mailed out according to schedule.
- A huge advantage for AXA was that high set-up costs for small offset print runs were avoided, and engaging Orangebox as a one-stop shop gave AXA a financial and logistical advantage.
THE OUTCOME:
- The mailings went out on time and on budget, and as advisors solved their serial jigsaw puzzles, AXA benefited with a big increase in sales.
- The campaign was a roaring success, with interest generated from advisors and competitors alike.
“Our Take 15 campaign was a great success, sparking a huge amount of interest and leading to increased sales. Orangebox really worked as part of the team to get the job done. We were working to tight deadlines and timing was imperative. In just over three weeks, we did 15 mailings, with many requiring changes at the last minute. Orangebox really went the extra mile and helped us to pull off a great campaign.”
